Join us for our MPCI Producer Seminar Tuesday, February 10 at 3:30 p.m. CST. Central Time upstairs at the Bismarck Event Center in Room 103 after the Agri-International show. You will hear Dr Ethan Andress, state veterinarian, Kevin Kading with ND Game and Fish Dept, and Michael Hanson with NAU. Dr Ethan Andress will present on regulating animal agriculture in an everchanging world, providing insight protecting your herd and controlling disease.

Kevin Kading will discuss a new opportunity, Governor’s LEGACY Soil Health and Habitat program. LEGACY is a new program administered between NDGF and the ND Assn. of Soil Conservation Districts. LEGACY provides options for producers to enroll marginal croplands or other fields into a 5-year agreement to seed grass. Producers will receive a rental rate based on the average county rate, cost share for the seed and establishment, and a crop insurance premium reduction for acres seeded to grass. Public access is not required and there are additional incentives for producers interested in providing access. Michael Hanson with NAU will provide insurance updates. Following the meeting from 5-7 will be our annual customer social in room 105. No RSVP needed.
