Farm Credit Services of Mandan (FCSM) and its eight branch offices are organizing a 5K run, trail hike or pasture walk challenge. “The goal is to support our local food banks by participating in a healthy rural activity,” said Aaron Vetter, CEO for Farm Credit Services of Mandan. A 100% of all entry fees will be donated to the area food bank of the registrant’s choice.
“The 5K is being held between National Ag Day on March 23 and National Earth Day on April 22 to help connect their mutual missions and raise awareness on how agriculture helps nourish the environment. We encourage all participants to stop and take a picture or video themselves in a healthy rural setting,” said Becky Peterson, FCSM’s Director of Marketing.
To register for the 5K stop in your local FCSM branch office. The fee to participate is $20 per adult and $10 per child with a $50 family maximum. Entry fee gets you a Connecting Communities t-shirt, a sport water bottle and a trail mix snack. T-shirt deadlines are March 15th and April 15th.
