Farm Credit Services of Mandan is accepting applications from qualified candidates interested in serving as an Outside Director for our cooperative Board representing the interests of our stockholders in southwestern and south central North Dakota. This role is part of a team that supports the mission, vision, and values of Farm Credit Services of Mandan and the Farm Credit System.
Farm Credit Services Board of Directors seeks an experienced, diverse, collaborative, and active Director with:
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: finance, accounting, business management, technology, marketing, human resources, risk management, and supervision of employees
- Business and strategic planning experience
- Willingness and ability to provide an outside perspective
- Other outside business, agriculture, and life experience to add to the diversity and strength of the Board
Due to an interim opening of an outside director position, the successful candidate will serve one year of a four year term with the potential for an additional four year term. As a director, you can expect to spend approximately 20-25 days per year focused on Association responsibilities and activities.

Eligibility to serve, and continue serving, as an outside director requires independence from affiliations with the Farm Credit System. No candidate for an outside director position may be a director, officer, employee, agent, stockholder, or borrower of any Farm Credit System institution.
